About the headshot photographs

There are lots of ways that you can use a headshot or portrait. It can be as simple as a profile picture on a social media website, or a printed ‘leave-behind’ for prospective clients. Whatever you use it for, if you’re in business, it’s always a good idea to have one to hand. Choose two or three photographs from a single photo session and you’ll always have them to ready to go at a moment’s notice. Present yourself as you want to be seen. No more last minute panic or wasted time.

Cropping options

I nearly always shoot headshots in landscape [horizontal] format. I find that this gives my clients the greatest flexibility in the use of their photographs. Images taken in horizontal format can be cropped more easily to suit the needs of web and print applications. See below for some examples.
